European football spots are yet to be fully settled heading into the final matchday of the 2025-26 Serie A campaign, and certain teams will jockey for favourable positions in this weekend’s set of matches.
Among them are Como and Juventus, locked in fifth and sixth with 68 points each. Both teams are coming off contrasting results and are only two points adrift of a Top 4 spot, currently held by third-seeded AC Milan and fourth-seeded AS Roma. Winning their games against Cremonese and Torino will surely help their Serie A 2026 odds, but they don’t have full control of their fate.
On the other hand, Lecce (35 points) and Cremonese (34 points) are fighting for their Italian top-flight lives, and only one point separates these two sides. Both teams are keen to have positive Serie A 2026 results this weekend to avoid joining Pisa and Hellas Verona in the second division next term.
Lecce vs Genoa
For Lecce to stay in Serie A next season, they must beat Genoa at Stadio Via del Mare Ettore Giardiniero this Sunday, as a draw or a loss would complicate matters. If they don’t see this through, Lecce would hope that Cremonese would drop their final game against Como. If both of them finish with 35 points each, both clubs will play in a two-legged relegation play-off to settle the final top-flight berth.
Eusebio Di Francesco’s men have won two of their last three, including last Sunday’s 3-2 win against Sassuolo. Walid Cheddira scored a brace early in the first half to give his team a 2-1 edge, with Armand Lauriente’s goal sandwiched in between. Andrea Pinamonti scored a late equaliser, and it looked like we’re headed to a draw, but Nikola Stulic had other plans in stoppage time. With four goals this season, Stulic is I Salientini’s joint-top scorer, alongside Lameck Banda.
Genoa are coming off a 2-1 loss against AC Milan, extending their winless run to four games. But Daniele De Rossi’s side is 14th in the table with 41 points, so they’re not too worried. Their top scorer is their striker, Lorenzo Colombo, who has seven goals and one assist this term.
These two teams have had their share of low-scoring affairs recently, so we’re going for the Unders as our top betting option here at SBOTOP.

Torino vs Juventus
The Derby della Mole will help determine Juventus’ fate this season, whether they’ll end up in the Champions League or drop to the Europa League. Juventus and Torino have shared the spoils in their past two league matches, making this a cagey affair on Sunday evening.
Juventus are fresh from a stinging 2-0 loss to Fiorentina, despite having the numerical advantage after Luca Ranieri received his marching orders in the 71st minute. Luciano Spalletti’s men conceded goals from Cher Ndour and Rolando Mandragora, and they couldn’t even buy one goal, despite firing 24 shots.

The Bianconeri won’t have one of their best defenders available against Torino, as Gleison Bremer will serve his suspension due to yellow-card accumulation. Federico Gatti will likely take his place, and Bremer might have already played his final match for Juventus.
Meanwhile, Torino were boosted by the return of Che Adams, who came on during the second half of their 2-1 loss against Cagliari. The Scottish striker missed a couple of matches due to a thigh injury. Adams is Il Toro’s joint-third leading scorer with five goals and two assists this term. Head coach Roberto D’Aversa could bring Adams on as a substitute again if he decides to stick with the front two of Giovanni Simeone and Duvan Zapata, who have 14 goals combined this year.

Cremonese vs Como
Como could be back in the Top 4 race if they take care of business against Cremonese on Sunday. Cesc Fabregas’ side is coming off back-to-back 1-0 victories against Hellas Verona and Parma, as Anastasios Douvikas and Alberto Moreno scored the marginal goals.
Douvikas should continue to handle the scoring load for Como, with Nico Paz still recovering from the knee injury that he sustained against Hellas Verona last week, which is different from the head injury he suffered against Genoa. At 13 goals, Douvikas is joint-second in the Capocannoniere race, level with Marcus Thuram and Donyell Malen.
Cremonese are on a two-game winning streak heading into this weekend, as Jamie Vardy was on the scoresheet against Pisa and Udinese. Vardy will do his best to save another club from the jaws of relegation.
Betting tip – Como Asian Handicap -1.00 @ 2.11
